How to make a booking

• To complete a booking please either telephone or email us with your dates to ensure that the week(s) you require are still available (Note: Saturday to Saturday unless by prior arrangement) we will then send you a booking form. Please note that we are very busy throughout the year therefore early booking is advised.

• You can also check availability online via Daltons Holidays.

• Complete the booking form in full and sign it accordingly, then return it to us with 50% of your total booking. This forms a non-refundable deposit and ensures that our prices do not increase and that you have guaranteed your stay. (You can of course pay in full at this stage if you wish).

• We will then contact you to confirm your booking.

• Within 2 months (8 weeks) of your intended stay please forward the remaining 50% of your booking fee. Please note that failure to do so may result in your booking being re-allocated and you will forfeit your deposit. (Late bookings: Please contact us for instructions).

• Payment by cheque only.

• Prior to your departure we will send you detailed instructions and directions of how to find the cottage.

• Please note: No smoking / No pets.

• On arrival at Vayres you will be met by our manager Sue who will give you the key and briefly show you how everything works, fire procedures etc. On your departure, please leave the cottage as you found it (i.e clean and tidy and no breakages / damage).

Booking conditions

• Unless stated otherwise the rental period shall commence at: 3.00 pm (15.00hrs) on your arrival day and finish at 11.00 am (11.00hrs) on your departure day.

  Please adhere to this rule. It is very important to us that we maintain our standards of cleanliness and service to every client and we need as much time as possible to clean, air and replenish the property.
• The maximum number to reside in the cottage is 4.
• The client agrees to be a responsible tenant at all times, to ensure that the property is looked after at all times and will leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period.
• Please note that Vayres is a quiet rural village and clients are asked not to act in any way that would cause disturbance to neighbouring residents.
• Any damages / faults / breakages must be brought to the attention of the manager forthwith so that arrangements for replacement / repair can be made as quickly as possible.
• We can not be liable to the client for any interruption, temporary stoppage or defect in the supply of services to the property.

CANCELLATIONS

• Cancellations will only be accepted in extenuating circumstances and are only given provided we can re-let your allocated dates. We are happy to discuss each case on an individual basis but it is a condition of booking that any cancellation is entirely at our discretion.

INDEMNITY

• The use of our accommodation is entirely at the users risk. We accept no responsibility in whole or part for any injuries to person(s) or damage to any property during your stay. A completed booking form and your payment of deposit constitutes a contractual obligation to this undertaking.
• Clients are strongly advised to ensure that they have comprehensive travel insurance to cover personal belongings, public liability, medical costs and cancellation cover whilst in France. Our insurance will not cover you.
